These images made up an exhibit at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lynchburg, Virginia in May 2009. The images were presented in two academic settings: the Southeast Conference of the Assoication for Asian Studies [Atlanta, January 2009] and the College Theology Society [Notre Dame, June 2009]. I am continuing the project of establishing links between the poetry of Mira Bai and evocative images of Indian devotional life.
